There’s still time to register for the 2023 GSPA Fall Conference on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the University of Georgia’s Tate Student Center. The theme is “Momentum,” and the concept was created by GSPA Student Ambassador Wes Harrison of Marietta High School. “As journalists, we’re constantly moving: toward the next story, toward new mediums, toward new horizons,” noted Harrison. “For all this, we need ‘Momentum’ to keep us moving forward.” The event will feature several rounds of concurrent sessions covering a variety of topics of importance to scholastic journalists and advisers. Conference extras such as on-the-spot contests, the First Edition Competition and on-site critiques will be offered. View the program here. The cost is $15 per student. Membership dues cover adviser registration fees. Registration will close Oct. 20, or when the the event reaches capacity.
