Mercer University's Center for Collaborative Journalism and the Georgia Scholastic Press Association will host a High School Journalism Advisers Workshop June 6-7, 2024, on Mercer's Macon campus. The workshop itself will be free to attend and will include sessions such as introduction to audio, introduction to photo and video, on writing and editing, crafting story ideas or others.

The workshop will be open to middle and high school teachers in Georgia who currently advise student media publications or who are interested in starting scholastic journalism programs at their schools.
