Teachers and student staff members from all publication and production types who are interested in presenting at the 2025 Fall Conference are invited to submit their ideas for consideration by Sept. 7, 2025. Please submit a separate form for each pitch.

The 2024-25 Spring General Excellence Competition and Individual Awards contest are now open! A new competition for the 2024-25 academic year is designed to recognize middle school and/or high school journalists in Georgia who excel in reporting on behavioral health issues. The deadline to enter is Feb. 1, 2025.

Each year, GSPA recognizes the top student journalist in the state with the Georgia Champion Journalist Award. The winner receives a cash prize and represents the state in the Journalism Education Association's National Journalist of the Year competition.
