Student Ambassador Showcase: Naina Agrawal
/GSPA is proud to highlight the amazing work of one of our GSPA Ambassadors, Naina Agrawal, a senior at Lambert High School.
Putting the spotlight on our GSPA ambassadors allows them to showcase their published work and skills.
Hi! My name is Naina Agrawal, and I am a senior at Lambert High School. I serve as the Editor-in-Chief of The Lambert Post, our student-run newspaper, and previously worked as the Opinion Editor. Over the past three years at the Post, I have focused on expanding the paper’s scope and increasing its impact within our school community.

I chose these three pieces because they pushed me to go beyond the classroom and connect with people outside of our school. I reached out to congressmen, astronauts, and Lambert alumni to bring their perspectives back to our community. I also focused on important topics like women in space, farmers, and the challenges of being a doctor, which are especially relevant to the people around me. Even as student journalists, I think it is incredibly important that we take global issues, see how they show up in our communities, and connect with those most directly involved.
Serving as a GSPA Ambassador has strengthened my growth as both a communicator and a leader by pushing me to reach out to more people. It has given me the opportunity to meet a group of like-minded individuals who value journalism as much as I do, which has been incredibly motivating. Attending the fall conference and meeting everyone in person was such an amazing experience, and it reminded me how powerful collaboration and shared passion can be in this field.
I hope to see more students in my community join and take part in student journalism. I think now, more than ever, journalism is becoming increasingly valuable. In a time when information spreads quickly and it can be hard to tell what is accurate, strong journalism plays a key role in keeping people informed. I want more students to feel confident sharing their perspectives and telling stories that matter to them. At the same time, I hope my work helps make important issues more accessible and relevant, so our community stays informed and engaged.
